Castle of Mey 10k - 16/05/10
The most Northerly 10k on British Mainland
With the kind permission of the Castle and Gardens of Mey, North Highland Harriers are pleased to announce that the second Castle of Mey 10k will be held on Sunday 16th May 2010.
The Castle of Mey 10k is the most northerly 10k on the British mainland, and is run in the beautiful grounds and surroundings of the historic 14th Century Scottish Castle, the Queen Mother's home in Caithness.
- The Mey 10k event is now full and entry has been CLOSED. A waiting list is available and if you would like to be added, please e-mail the address below.
The official charity of the 2010 Castle of Mey 10k will be Maggie's Highlands (website). We would encourage all runners to consider fundraising for this worthwhile charity. Further information can be found by clicking on our charity page.
This year we have introduced two new prize categories:
- A kilted category and we would encourage as many runners as possible to run in their kilts!
- A team category for Scottish Athletic registered clubs, compete in a team of 4 from your club, for the opportunity to win the team prize. If you wish to enter a team, e-mail the address below.
