Report 13 - Week beginning 05/04/10
Have you stuck to the training programme? If not any reasons why?
No, this weeks been rubbish because of school holidays.
Have you done more or less than expected? Explain.
I've done way less than what I've wanted to do, with kids been on hols and hubby away I have been struggling to get out a run. So I've taken kids out on their bikes and going out on 6 mile walks, roll on back to school and me getting back into my routine.
How did you feel during training this week? What were the highs and lows?
Well I've enjoyed the walking and being out on our bikes, but I have to say I'm looking forward to getting out a run this week.
LOWS - my routine being thrown out the window.
HIGHS - well I have enjoyed the different exercise this week.
Are you seeing improvements; in speed, distance, breathing?
Not much this week, although before I started running I would have struggled walking 6 miles without complaining.
Where are you walking/running; gym, beach, roads, forests?
All over really, loads of different place.
Are you training alone/with someone else/mixture? How does this affect your training?
Walking and cycling with kids.
Any injuries?
No
Are you feeling any benefits away from training as a result of the training; health, toning up, more energetic?
Yes I feel my health is really improving and I lost 5 lb this week.
Are you doing any other forms of exercise; swimming, cycling, yoga, pilates?
I have done a lot of walking this week and I have been out on bikes with kid.
Any other observations?
I have enjoyed the change in my exercise routine this week, but I am looking forward to going running this week. I also have a new running partner this week so hopefully she'll push me hard this week.
